I don`t know who remembers Baby, she came to us pregnent, found on a parking lot in Vodnjan... on the operation, dr. discovered an old injury in leg, a gun bullet... So it was taken out.

Middle sized, till knees, beautiful, gentle, goodnatured and devoted...

Baby got adopted in september in Krnica, a village in Istria.. She was supposed to be in a big fenced yard, not on a chain, free with an other dog...

As it is not on our way, and we are all always so busy, finally now there is more of us so we manage to do more things (we make complete checks of conditions also before adoption now)... so few days ago we went there for a regular check and this is what we found:

We took her immediately and she is staying with us in Ližnjan.

After all she is not traumatized or similar, they didn`t treat her bad in that way, she is socialized, happy, playful, and enjoys walks... she is good with other dogs, she is healthy... but this are not conditions we want for our dogs.


Before you tell me we have to sue them or similar, we can`t do that. These are normal conditions for croatian country places... every dog is eather free or on a chain, they eat what they eat, they have bad or none veterinary care and they just replace the dog whenever they want (they kill one, take another and etc.) There are of course exceptinos - we belived this young couple from Krnica is, but we were wrong... of course it is terrible, but mentality of people is still very low, and there is no law that tells them not to keep their dog on a chain, and if dog dissapears, nobody knows or cares, because the neighbours are just the same...


So our Baby is now back on adoption... she is extra cute and beautiful, small and kind.. cca 2 years old, sterilized.
